Predator Control Person

Set out, bait and maintain trap lines for control and disposal of vermin & predators. Eradication of these pests will give give the Dragonfly Wetland Sanctuary native wildlife a chance to breed. Regular trapping for Rats, Mice, Stoats, Weasels, Ferrets & Possums will also help plants to thrive and protect seeds stock. Ongoing project, predators don't give up. 

Looking for a trapper for Tuesdays and/or Thursdays to check the trail cameras and clear and re bait the traps.
The circuit is good for a healthy walk, takes roughly 1.5 hours each trapping day, there are 38 Rat traps to check, clear & re bait.


It is a very pleasant walk through thriving native plantings in the peaceful setting of the Sanctuary.

Training
We will assist with an introductory training session and call on NRC Biosecurity staff for training help as required. Traps & Baits supplied. Overalls, gumboots & gloves are also available on-site. Tea or Coffee provided.
