Board Members
Nga Whiitiki Whanau Ahuru Mowai O Whangarei, Whangarei Rape Crisis, is looking for new board members.
The function of the Board is to collectively ensure the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, to set its strategic direction, and to uphold its values.
The responsibilities include:
- General regulatory/ compliance/ financial monitoring
- Strategic Planning
- Administrative & Management Tasks
- Media & Promotion
- Fundraising
The Board meets at least bi-monthly, preferably face to face (kanohi ki te kanohi) but if that is not possible, electronically.
Training- Thorough induction provided
Specific requirements- governance experience an advantage in any of the above responsibilities
