Zero Waste Ambassador
We are excited to be holding the International Rally of Whangārei on May 14-16, 2021.
We are committed to incorporating sustainability principals at our event and are aiming to host a Zero Waste event – which means recycling, composting and reducing waste to landfill. Stall holders are expected to use compostable or recyclable food packaging. However, some non-compostable items may be brought in from elsewhere.
Your role as a Recycling Ambassador is to help people put their items into the correct bins and make the recycling experience a nice one for everyone and the event. Above all, your role is to have FUN and enjoy the experience!
Shifts are three hours. Please let us know your preference for morning, middle of the day, afternoon, or the Friday evening shift at Pohe Island. Dates are Fri 14 - Sun 16 May, based at Cobham Oval, Whangarei, or Pohe Island/Te Matau a Pohe bridge, Whangarei.
Training
Full training provided before your shift.
