Nature Based Educational Resource Development - project role
Tutukaka Landcare is focussed on bringing back the birds to the beautiful Tutukaka Coast. We do this by restoring (protecting and supporting) our native species.
This opportunity is to help us develop our educational resources targeted at primary and intermediate school ages. These resources are used at events and workshops and designed to engage children in learning about different aspects of the natural world.
We can provide examples of what we are looking for and will provide the core information to be included. Typically we would require a handout (Handout includes a DIY activity, interesting facts, how to ID species and information on food and habitats they like to live in) and a poster that attracts children eg a colouring in competition. We are looking for someone who can create these resource packs once a month.
The ideal candidate would be self directed and be able to develop resources using 'Canva' an open source/cloud based solution (or similar) for design to give us print quality designs for handouts, activities and posters.
