We are looking for friendly and helpful people, who will be taking on the role of ushers during our Auditorium events. As an usher you will show people directions around the building, control access to the Auditorium doors, guide late-comers to their seats, answer general questions and, in case of an emergency, help evacuate the building. In this fun role, you'll get to see most part of the performances, ranging from local theatre groups and family events to cover bands and international touring shows.
The Turner Centre is a performing arts, events and conference venue in the heart of Kerikeri. Our 408-seat theatre attracts international, national and local shows to the Bay of Islands. We also have multi-purpose spaces available for community groups and commercial companies to use. We call on a large group of volunteers to run our events (bar staff, ushers, hospitality etc).
Training will be provide on site during events. A current First Aid Certificate is appreciated but not required. Specific requirements
Experience is not required, however we are looking for people that are passionate about customer service.
