Our community garden has moved from Te Hiku Hauora to Kaitaia Community House at 12 Puckey Ave. The garden is tucked away at the back. Everyone is welcome.
The garden is coordinated by Jo Bradley, a teacher of permaculture. The garden is a teaching site, and a place for community to come together. Community gardeners harvest and take home the food as it is ready, and as the garden blooms, we expect excess will feed our wider community.
Find us at the garden on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00.
There is food, and learning, and community connections to be had.
Our Garden Coordinator Jo is a teacher of Permaculture. Everything you need to know will be explained on the day.
