Summer Safe Car Park Ambassadors
The Summer Safe Car Park program aims to provide visitors with a friendly greeting when they arrive at the region's most popular tourist hotspots, while helping to keep themselves and their belongings safe while learning about other safe tourist destinations in the district. "Welcoming visitors" is a fun and rewarding experience interacting with a variety of people.
Expect to be rostered on for a few (or as many as you want) 3 hour time slots, during weekends and public holidays.

- AH Reed Memorial Park
- Abbey Caves
- Parihaka
- Town Basin
- Ruakaka and Waipu Cove

TrainingOn-site training provided. Volunteers are provided with hi-vis vests, and are supported by other experienced volunteers.
