Assist with set-up/running of "The Games"

The annual "Waipu Highland Games" are on January 1, 2020 in the Caledonian Park in the centre of Waipu on the main street. It is a big exciting event with about 5000 people visitors plus many contestants and participants.

We are looking for extra hands to help with the set-up and with the running of the event on the day.

Set up is the day before 31 December. It will involve putting up tents, erecting signage all over the grounds, putting up flags and bunting, decorating the Celtic Barn and so on ...

We are looking for extra hands. Join us for both days or for a few hours only.

Specific requirements

• A keenness to get stuck in.
• A desire to meet and work with new people.
• A sense of humour always helps.

Some level of energy will be required as some of the work will be physical but you will not be asked to do stuff you cannot do.

For those who join on the day, Jan 1st, the ability to wake up early and be on site by 8am.
