Furniture pick up, and help hospice

Turning second hand goods into first class care is what our Hospice Shops are all about so this role is an integral part to achieving that! You are often the first contact for our customers/donors as you load and unload furniture/goods from our donors' homes and also unload our trucks and donors' cars at our Big Shop and Processing Centre. You may also help 'first sought' these goods in preparation for sale.

Training
Full health and safety training is provided plus orientation into how the retail operation works and its role in the Hospice's operations will ensure you understand the value of volunteering with us.

Specific requirements
Fit and able-bodied with a commitment to abide by our health and safety requirements, participating in H&S training where required. Ability to work/contribute as part of a team.

Hospice has two trucks - big and small.  An HT License is required to drive the big truck but not the smaller one.
