Volunteer writing CVs in NRCF
We are in need of volunteers that has experience and skill in writing CVs. You will provide CV writing content to prisoners who have the interest and are close to release.
These activities will take place with prisoners from the External Selfcare Unit, located at the Northland Regional Correction Facility.
Training
Volunteers will be taken through an intensive prison induction, teaching volunteers how to keep themselves aware of their environment and keep themselves safe.
Specific requirements
Volunteer must have good literacy and grammar
•Be reliable and non-judgmental, punctual, personable, have good listening skills and patience
•Provide 2 character references
•Volunteers must be over 21 years of age
•Complete a Department of Corrections Third Party Clearance Application.
•Attend the induction provided by the Department of Corrections
