Special Olympics Bay of Islands Club Equestrian Event (Sat 31st Aug)
Special Olympics provides sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. This is a Special Olympics Bay of Islands Club Equestrian ribbon day, where athletes from Auckland and Northland come and compete, representing their Club. Assisting with running the Equestrian event for athletes with an Intellectual Disability. Do not need to be sporty! Roles may include Timing athletes, setting up event, handing out ribbons, recording times, marshalling athletes prior to entry to the course, organising the horses for the athletes.
We will show you what to do on the day.
Attention to detail to record results/figures, enjoy being outdoors with horses, being on your feet and having a fun day out with people. Organising and administration. 9.30am - 2.00pm
