Help to look after our patients in hospice- 3 different time options- we flex where we can

Our vacancies are Tuesdays 12-4, Wednesdays 4-8pm, Fridays 12-4pm, alternate Saturday 4-8pm

We seek volunteers with a compassionate nature to work in our in-patient unit. The unit is run 24/7 and offers the volunteer an opportunity to work alongside nursing staff in the care and support of patients while in situ for symptom control, respite care and sometimes end-of-life care. The volunteer also helps support families/Whanau for company, deliver prepared meals, as well as assist with light laundry duties. This is a very rewarding volunteer role.  We can build in flexibility for those with time constraints.
