Hospice Mid-Northland is a Charity Organisation providing Specialist Palliative Care to the Mid North. There are two parts to this positon: Firstly, we are seeking able-bodied people to deliver Medical Equipment in homes using our Hospice Van. (Hospital beds, lazy boy chairs, side rails etc). This position is always tasked with two team members. You will be fully supported by our Logistics Manager and will be teamed up with an experienced volunteer. If agreeable, there is a second part to this position. We also require donated household goods to be collected which are vital for the funding of the organisation. Mon - Fri Hours: 4 hr shift (once a week) or when able.

Training
Full training provided to familiarise you with Medical equipment, Health & Safety practices and patient/family contact Working with our Logistics Manager, Volunteer Team Leaders and Team Members. An inspirational group of Volunteers.

Specific requirements
Able to follow Confidentiality Guidelines Able to follow Health and Safety Processes Clean driver’s license Able-bodied Kind and caring Able to communicate and work with others This is a privileged position helping Hospice patients and families. Our volunteers are very humbled by this experience and find it truly inspirational and rewarding.
