Community Engagement - Pukenui Forest

“The Kukupa Collective is a group of community organisations that have come together to further enrich the recreation and leisure facilities of Whangarei City: Pukenui Western Hills Forest Trust, Quarry Arts, Te Kowhai Print Trust, Whangarei Quarry Gardens Trust and Kiwi North-Whangarei's Museum. We are looking for resourceful locals to facilitate a range of ways that our community can engage with Pukenui Forest: planting days, helping to monitor pests and native species, digital media, art, adventures, competitions, signposting tracks with interesting things to learn and explore, devising ‘collections’ for children…. The possibilities are endless.
