Special Olympics Northland Secondary Schools Bocce Deliverer
Bocce is a sport belonging to the boules sport family, closely related to bowls and pétanque. The object of the game is for individual or team players to roll a larger ball (bocce) closer to a smaller target ball (pallina) than their opponents. The player/team whose bocce balls are closest to the pallina, scores a point for each ball of their closer than their opposition.
Mutual training between the applicant and the Regional Sports Coordinator.
Helping deliver to 1 school per term (1 day per week) you will be able to work closely with the Regional Sports Coordinator, have an eye for detail, excellent time management skills, be approachable, have a positive and can do attitude, well organised and a good listener. This will a great opportunity for those that have an interest in Lawn Bowls or Petanque and would like to be involved in disability sport.
