We provide opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities.
Our horses need daily visits to check on their health and wellbeing and to give out hay and feed as required.
This position is variable but may require feeding hay, filling hay nets, grooming horses, riding and lunging based on your skill levels, picking up poo, sweeping and general stable jobs. .
Training and riding takes place outside of normal RDA sessions times, often Mondays and Saturdays
Training will be provided in the RDA way of doing things.
Horse knowledge required, riding ability an advantage.
We need someone who is confident around horses, who can work on their own at times, is motivated, can look around and see what needs to be done, but can also follow instructions and work as a part of a team.
