Selwyn Park is part of The Selwyn Foundation, a registered charity providing services to older people and their families in the community
Would you like to utilise your skills, talents and compassion, meet people, have fun and contribute to developing interesting and meaningful activities for our residents? We are looking for volunteers to help our Activities Coordinator in our residential aged care facilities, where we practice "The Selwyn Way" model of care, and in our community Selwyn Centre. As a volunteer you might be assisting residents with arts and crafts, music, accompanying them on outings, or supporting them with their individual interests and hobbies. You can use your own particular skills or abilities to enhance our activities’ programmes for the benefit of residents.

Volunteers should be kind, empathetic, friendly, interested in people, non-judgmental and mature. Good communication skills are required as some of our residents have difficulty with hearing and communicating. Any creative talents are a plus but not necessary
