Christmas Wrapping & Kindness Action Station Volunteers

Holiday cheer is taking over the CBD! Our Christmas Community Pop-Up from 16 – 21 December offers gift wrapping services for anyone buying presents in the CBD in the month of December. Every day, we have a range of music, theatre and dance performances and workshops, as well as a Christmas Carol Competition. We also invite everyone to do something good for their community and try one of our 5-minute-volunteering crafts at the Kindness in Action Station!

When: 16 – 21 December, 10am – 2pm
Whangārei CBD, Corner Cameron/John Street
We are still looking for help on Monday 18, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21.

We are looking for enthusiastic gift wrappers and community champions to support the station in the week before Christmas. Please get in touch if you want to help out as a group!
No prior wrapping experience needed. We will offer a 1-hour gift wrapping workshop for all volunteers in the week leading up to the event.

Requirements

• somewhat handy with scissors, paper and cloth
• friendly, with lots of holiday spirit

Time commitment

We are still looking for help on Monday 18, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21.
Ideally, you are able to commit to one of the days for a 5-hour shift (9.30am – 2.30pm). We will provide lunch and drinks.

If you can't commit to 5 hours, but would like to help anyway, please get in touch regardless.
