Festival Crew Pasifika Fusion - 2 March

Do you love meeting people? Do you enjoy the Pacific Islands vibes? If this sounds like you, then you sound qualified to be one of our festival ambassadors at our Northland Pasifika Fusion Festival. Running a festival is a huge job but with many hands, it’s absolutely doable AND loads of fun.
We are looking for people to help us at next year's festival taking place on Saturday, 02 March 2024. It’s becoming a very popular event with music, food, entertainment, activities and all in a beautiful setting, the Hihiaua Peninsula, also known as the Waka and Wave Park.

We need extra hands on the Friday afternoon helping to "set up"
We need people who are willing to hand out programmes for the day's event and direct people to the various areas and activities. You will also be required to patrol the water's edge at the venue to help keep people safe.

We will provide some training sometime in the week leading up to the event so you know what is happening and where. A volunteers orientation session will be held before the event which you will need to attend.

Requirements

Good customer relations experience is helpful, good communication skills. This is an ideal opportunity for young people wanting experience in event management or to get some community service experience.
